Try attaching an image that's 800px or 1024px wide?

Looks alright that size but it's hard to tell ;)

Hi Nancy and welcome to the Critique Corner forum on POTN. It appears that you may have attached a thumbnail of the image rather than the image file itself. Let us know if you need any help in posting image files.

I'd like to see a crop somewhere between those two, & put the yellow back in the image. "Warm" is nice for sunsets.
I can't show you 'cause you haven't enabled image editing OK in your user prefs.

This is strictly my opinion and should be taken as such, but to me this youngster isn't really impressive enough to stand as a silhouette...he just doesn't really have the "rack" for it yet. The sky does make for a pretty back ground, but I would like to have seen more light on the buck himself.

I will say that I think you did a good job with the crop considering the original there. From that distance and considering the lighting though I'm not really sure there was much else that could be done with this shot. I think a much longer lens (or getting in closer) along with better lighting would have made for a much better image.

Again not trying to be rude, just my personal opinion.
Peace,
Jim

Thanks for your opinions. However forgot to mention these are 2 seperate shots I had taken. I didnt edit them at all, I wanted to though. We have a large bush surrounded by corn fields with trails all through the bush and at the time there were 4 does and 3 young bucks who are used to seeing me everynight out on the quad.
