Ive just got my Canon 20D

and i've noticed in aperture priority it keeps underexpsoing quite a lot

im using 50mm F1.8 at 1.8 in a reasonably lit room so there sould be no reason for it to underexpose

ISO 400 as well

just keeps doing it!

any help greattttly appreciated!

This was a common complaint with many 20/30D owners. Some just set their EC to +1 and left it there.

Rogan, can you post a shot with EXIF intact?

My 30D doesn't underexpose.

We'd need to see some pictures.

My 30D also does not underexpose.

I have a habit of doing things like that every once in a while. I started every now and then returning the settings to default in the menu to set to regular to prevent it!
