Same shot, in color and B&W.

Penobscot is a work stop in NE PA. Im still a beginner, so critique away, but I do find this shot pleasing. 40D, 17-55 lens at f/16 and 38mm, a circular polarized filter, some pp with Lightroom, working on the WB and exposure a little bit. I personally prefer it as the B&W.

I have to agree the B&W works really well, nice shot
Maybe think about editing out the polls on top of the hill?

I didn't think of that, I'll look at it both ways. I thought they occupied what was otherwise a plain sky. Every TV and radio station on the county and beyond has a transmitter on the ridge, it is the highest point for miles!

Yeah thats a fair point, i just thought they spoilt the era of the shot especially in the B&W. But thats just one mans opinion ;)

Interesting shot...maybe next time frame the roof line of the station just a little differently...it looks (and is) a bit chopped off with only a small bit of the corner missing like that. Try a crop with all that section of the roof or with it cropped closer to the center of that section.
