These are a couple from this summers visit. A done with 3 exposures +/- 2 stops apart. Combined in Photomatix Pro then sharpened in CS3.

As always thanks for having a look

Canon EOS 40D and Canon EF-S 10-22mm

Great work. I've been trying to get some of my HDRs from Photomatix to look as natural as possible, as you have done so here, but I'm failing. Lovely shots.

If I saw more shots like this then I would definitely take the time to do some HDR work. A lot of the stuff I see just looks too fake to me.

Wonderful. This is HDR as it should be (and as I can't do). :)

Everything perfectly exposed, but none of the tell tale traces of HDR!

Inspirational!

Very, very nice work...

Should be added to a sticky on how HDR is supposed to work.

Great job on these Toney!

Amazing how all these comments come out saying "this is how it should be" but when I point out those that are overdone, I get grief from the artists and the peanut gallery. :)

Nice work Toney. Really love the second one.

There are halos around the mountains but otherwise faultless.

Very much appreciate all the comments. These where kinda a challenge in the field with the wind blowing about 15 mph, hence the movement in the foreground flowers.

Very nice shots. But where did all you people get the idea that HDR should look like a normal picture? If that were the case, nobody would bother. At best, HDR as done in PM should level out the luminosity of all the pixels, and this clearly hasn't been done in these. At the other extreme, it would look like the usual cartoon image so many complain about. If you don't like HDR, why do you all click on the threads with HDR in the title?

I think your all secret HDR fetishists.
