So today i tried my hand at a kind of portrait kind of set up with two friends...Im really scared to hear what people are going to say about the pics...But comments are welcomed of course...Pointers are helpful for future reference.

This is MY FIRST TIME.

This one i slacked off and didnt really pay attention to hold the camera straight with the edge of the concrete.

Also pictures are straight from the camera, no editing, all shot in RAW, tagged and added border
Thanks for looking.

I think these are nice. I think the color tone is a bit off, could be warmer. Your friends seem a little tense, especially the window shots. Were you ever able to get them relaxed enough to grin?

Good group of shots. I like the color saturation. I would suggest though that if you can't straighten them without losing vital parts that you are cropping too close in the camera. Leave some room around your subject if for no other reason different print sizes.

And don't be afraid to shoot in portrait mode.

Thanks for posting! You need not fear! You appear to have a good start on things, as these are your first efforts and unedited! Keep up the good work!

These have a really nice feel to them. Were they shot with the 100mm? They'd be great with a little processing. :)
