Good job for the second one. First two suggestions for me was:

1) Rule of Thirds. Learn it and use it. It works well!

2) On the first shoot, second shot... NEVER cut off feet at the ankle. Kills me when people do that. Include all or crop tighter, one of the two. Otherwise it gives them the "Lost the foot in the war" look. ;)

Great improvement on the second shoot!!!!

Very nice compostion on the second set. The WB is not to my taste in some of them but that does not mean they are bad...

I like them.

1. Crop tighter to his back
2. just don't like them centered
3,4,5,6 I like them. 6 has a large hotspot on his forehead. Fill flash would have helped some.
7 Crop tighter to her back.
8. Crop tighter

again these are just my personal opinions as I held papers up to the screen to look at crops etc...doesn't mean they are right.. but I see a huge improvement from set 1 to set 2. keep up the good work.

Why is your gear list someone else's post?

I like them all. I think your processing needs a bit of work all around.
Blown Highlights are best to avoid in portraits.
