CORRECTION : Canon 70-200 2.8 IS L (screwed up the thread title)

Before putting it for sale in the classified section, I was looking for some ideas as to how to price this lens.

It is in perfect working function -bought it from BH about year and a half ago-, went in for cleaning and calibration less than a year ago, and the code and serial are as follows:

Fabrication Code: UV0115
Serial: 378744

Lens would be in perfect shape, a wear mark or tiny scuffle here or there (I mean after close inspection one sees it is a used item, but not beat up). The Hood is good, outside it does have some wear marks as well (you know plastic wear marks, no scratches or cracks though).

So, how would you price it for sale here in these forums?...

duh, my bad. Somehow the first few characters did not type on the subject line. Sorry for the misunderstanding. It's a 70-200

70-200 2.8IS...

You shouldn't lose too much money for selling that less than 1 year old. It's one of the most commonly used and bought lenses. I'm looking to buy one new at the end of year.

avg price on here is from 1400-1500, give or take depending on the condition and how old your lens is. I'd say around 1500ish for yours since it seems new and has no problems.
