I don't know much about where the launch pads are, but is it possible to get a shot of both of the shuttles out there right now? I think that would be a sight to see.

They showed both shuttles on their pads today on the news. But they are not going for a month, one not til November. What are they doing out there already?

There is a good distance between both shuttles. You can not get a shot of both of them from the ground. You have to be up in a helio or plane. Even then with the way they are facing you will not get a clear shot of both of them at the same time. They sort of face each other with a lot of swamp in between them. They look to me to be several miles apart from each other.
