All taken in the Kgalagadi Transfronier Park, South Africa side ... last one is a massive crop of the Whitebacked at a nest.

You got an excellent set of shots of these grand birds. The dark eye in the first one is almost frightening ...

That old bird is quite ugly, but the younger ones are cute! I only get to see turkey vultures and condors here, thanks for these...very cool shots!

Very nice! I would love to visit Africa on a photog. trip, but I am afraid it would end up with me chasing the wrong bug or snake into the bushes....:(
