It is starting to get nippy around here in the mornings. There is a slight hint of frost coming on the grass and ground in the mornings and the last flowers of the season are here but will not be around much longer. Managed to get this shot this morning during the walk with the dog just after the sun had come up. I love these little flowers their colour and vibrancy seems to be natures last defiant show of colour before the leaves turn on the trees and the snow covers the ground. Comments appreciated and welcome.

Very nice John, my margarites are out as well....kind of a bittersweet feeling to see them bloom!

Thanks for the comments.

None of the pics that I have show the stems, I was only interested in the blooms with the dew on them.

I punched these up as much as I could without blowing things out, it was early morning and I did not have my tripod.

Regards
