well ive proberbly missed loads of excellent image and il be look back at some later but as for know ive sortes some old /new images from the scope .

i still havent got over that i cant use the bigma and my replacent fuji just has'nt got the f/lenght so ill be saving my £££ either for the bigma repair or a new lens.

all images below are naked 600mm manual focus either window or live view.

i havent had the robin in the garden for months and never got a image from the scope so ive set up differant stages for my favourite garden bird.
a very special image that ive wanted for about 2 years but more of this later.
1.4tc needed as the robin has,nt got use to me yet but feeding meel worm in the autom winter will help.

Talk about close ups. #3 is my favorite - excellent background color. All are sharp. Why bother to get a new lens. Heck I would like to be able to get anything close to that sharp.

thanks for looking and comments .

it just that i miss so many shots and the bigma was ideal for that .

as for the sharpness of this £300 apo scope i couldnt complain i did a test shot at the shop against a 500f4 and there nothing in it.

cheers jason

that good news for me although i can be a pain being slow to get critical focus but when you get the image that pop ou on the screen they make up for that.

Outstanding images Jason. Excellent compositions.

I've yet to give my Takahashi Sky 90 II a test drive with terrestrial work. I've heard some say it does pretty well, I just don't have a tripod/head that will do the job right now. Maybe when I get the 500L/Wimberley and sturdier tripod I can give it a testing.

The EXIF is there for half of them. You can't save for web, you have to Save As to keep it in there.
