Contrary to popular belief, I actually to do more than sit around, read POTN, whine about the 5DII, and worry about gear in general. Sometimes I venture out into public, camera in hand...well as long as it isn't in total daylight. This was at a block party put on by a local drinking establishment.

Anyway...I sold the 5D in anticipation of the "moon unit", so these are all with the 30D.

You can check out Lee's stuff here (though they don't have anything recorded with the full band):

Awesome stuff again! Great captures. Clean and crisp.
We had a great time there. It was good to meet you and finally see Jon play.
I'm going to have to give this a try someday but my capabilities are far less than yours.
Good job.

Yeah, it was good to meet you Greg, and thanks for the comments. Glad that you had a good time, there is really nothing quite like standing around in the street and drinking. :D

The old man looks like the old man dancer on last years 6 flags commercials.

So, this is one big family?
I too like the last shot.
Some of the others are quite nice as well.
Pity you cropped the old guys feet.

Well they are only a family in the musical sense. You can read their (fake) bio here: http://www.myspace.com/theillegitimatesonsmusic (external link)

And I agree with you on the feet, unfortunately he was moving so fast that it was difficult to get the composition just right. ;)
