These were taken in May, 2004 at Waterton Lakes NP, Alberta. The first one, Cameron Lake, may appear to be B & W, but is a color photo. The overcast day and total lack of color in the scene resulted in this look. Notice the stones in the shallow part of the lake for some slight color.

I really like #1. The Canadian Rockies are gorgeous. I love alpine lakes especially when there is a reflection.

This must have been a stop on your way up to Hyder and southeast Alaska?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Yes, James, we didn't want to arrive in Alaska too early, so spent time in several neat places along the way, finally crossing into Alaska on June 1. Stopped in Hyder on the return.
