Trying out my new 100-400 yesterday, I was delighted with the pan shots. I had or just could not pan with the Sigma BigMa like this. Anyway it is getting to be spring time for the wild birds and they are pairing up and getting ready. I spooked this pair up off the water, but caught them in the air nonetheless.

Nice shootin' Tex.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Very cool!

The composition of the water and the snowy ground is excellent too.

You may be wrong about spring, but that's a really good shot.

Great image... perfect "seasonal" feel to it.
