Digital Media cards-sizes the same? Rebel XTi

Hello-
Newbie here, on my way to Europe in a month and thought I would buy another card or two as I may very well fill one while I am there.

So I went on Tigerdirect and saw all kinds of cheap cards, but they look funny, not really the same size or port connections as the one that came with the Rebel XTI my wife bought be for my birthday.

Has anyone had experience with this card and subsitutes?

Just out of curiosity, post a link to the cards you were looking at that looked "funny" to you. I'm curious to know what they were.
