A beautiful bird that we saw often in small groups but always flitting away before there was any chance of setting up a shot. For some reason this guy sat there watching us for a while and I managed to fire off a few quick shots before he was gone.

1D Mk II N, 400mm 5.6 L with 1.4x, 1/640, f8.0, 200 ISO

Cheers, it is definately a cracker in the look department. Last we saw them but couldn't get a shot. We also saw some awesome red-breasted Bee-eaters that we diid get some good shots of. Jake got a few for sure.
