Hello all. I am a definite novice, having upgraded from a Sony cybershot to the XSi about 2 months ago. I love it so far and am trying to learn everything I can.

My question: can I upload my user picture styles to my computer so that, when I open the pictures with the Canon software, they aren't automatically converted to "standard" mode?

I have been through the programs to see if this is allowed. I re-created one of my user styles using the Picture Style Editor software, but I still have to locate and open the picture style every time I open the program. Is there a way to make my user styles a part of those programs so that they don't default to "standard" every time I open the program?

Thanks for your help!!

Hi and welcome,
Well, you can definitely upload and download PicStyles between cam and computer but as for making one the default in PhotoPro I don't know.

In Canon's Digital Photo Professional you can choose styles from a menu if you're shooting RAW.
