Dark and noisy, crashes meant the stages ran really late and I wasn't set up for darkness shooting:

Targa 2008 was the last year Amateur Radio Clubs did volunteer radio communications for Targa. I stoped doing it in 2007.

towns are complaining about the event now so i would say 2009 will be the last year for the event.

great shots.

#3 is my pick of the bunch, although I'd be tempted to crop out the rubbish at the top. #5 has a nice moody feel to it, the lighting really works nicely.

Good work,

Rhod

Wasn't it #4 that you said was used in a magazine spread . . ? Very nice shots indeed. Too bad the locals are getting all bent about the race . . . too many lawns and basements getting wrecked I guess.

Some lovely scenery for motorsport. Love number 4. Also number 2's composition is great, The Audi looks almost sad whilst it sits in behind its modern equivelent.

Thanks for sharing

Elvis

Great shots but as previously said #3 could do with a crop

#2 would be nice with the Quattro at the front and the other two at the back

Nice work

Love the Subaru and Mitsi shot with the Quattro lurking in the background.

Is the Quattro a ex-works one? Looks fairly legible as a factory car...I can see names on the rear of the front fender but cannot make them out...
