interesting concept... but I really think it is too dark. If I hadn't known it was a horse it would have taken me a few seconds. maybe it is just a lttle to abstract for me. dunno. did you get any others from the shoot? lets see some more.

I tried a slight adjustment in the exposure level, and it kept the BG dark, but did highlight the eye and muzzle a tad more.I like this composition.

maybe with a tighter crop?....my opinion is it has to much dark space.

Thanks to all for the comments. Here is a cropped lighter version... though probably still to dark for some. This wasn't meant to be a formal portrait but just an experiment with exposure and composition.

i like the idea, but would have been nice with more light coming in to light that side a bit more. great idea tho
