New Hampshire is probably one of the last places you would expect to see buffalo roaming in, but we have a few farms here that raise them. I took this photo last summer with my G1. I wish there was something in the frame to lend perspective. The large male appeared to be close to six feet tall at the shoulder. Beautiful animals!

Nice shot. Where are these beasts, since I live an hour from you...?

By the way, this shot isn't very recent, is it? Or did all of your snow melt? :-)

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I took the shot this past August. If you know where the NH International Speedway is in Loudon, you travel south from there on Route 106 and then turn left on to Route 129 (your still in Loudon) and follow that for roughly four miles and the Buffalo will be on your left. If you come to the intersection of Route 129 and Route 28, you have gone too far. The Buffalo are less than a mile from that intersection.
