Apologies for the poor quality...taken between two panes of dirty glass, shooting into daylight.

I'm not bug expert, and obviously it isn't this same species. But my guess would be some sort of kissing bug. I had something similar at my old house, and was able to compare it in real life with the online pics and that is the best I could do. They ranged from 1/2 inch to probably 2.5 inches the ones that were in my yard. They seemed to really get intrusive in the fall.

I did a Google search for stink bugs and didn't see anything exactly the same as the one I found today on my window but I did a few that were very similar but with a more slightly rounded body. The one I found was about 1.25 inches long and with legs extended, a bit over 2.5 inches.
