For my photography class tonight, I have to turn in 3 pictures. 2 will come from group below. What do you think? The ones with no border have no PP

the processing on the last one is really good. I really like 3 & 5 maybe just a bit of cropping on them and boost the highlights.

I really like 3 and 4. The first two expressions look extremely forced and unnatural. The third is just the kind of look you'd get from a kid who's tired of a parent pointing a camera at them all day. I don't know how deep you are into the class yet, but it's also a good talking point for recognizing when you're mixing soft light with hard light, and how it affects the overall scene, or when to consider fill flash if the two lightings are very extreme. And I think 4 looks like a very natural expression of contentment.

I wouldn't call any of these "candid" shots...I like 3, 4, 5, 6; the last processed one looks unnatural to me.

Thanks for the c/c. My teacher seemed to like 5 the best.

This was my "candid" shot

well, there you go, I would have gone with the last one non-pp'ed version. It has the most photographic elements in it. The way the bridge draws you to the middle and her face works well. Had she been centered a little bit more, it would have worked even better.

The issue with the one your teacher picked is the rabbit ears created from the dying tree in the back ground.... it doesn't help the image and creates distraction. But that aside, the railings do a good job of pulling you in to the subject. I just like the last better because it has less negative space. For what it is worth.
