RC-1 Dead? What else to get?

Hi everyone
Would you please help me
My almost new RC-1 remote that I use with my XSI looks that is bad
It worked fine for a while but now I have to click frantically the button until the camera shoots
Very annoying
Is there another similar device / option that i can get that is more relible and or rugged?

That was the first thing I did but no luck
Funny the batteries cost 10 bucks and the RC1 costs 25$

I could buy another one
I know there is the RC5, not sure on what is the difference (if any, looks a bit bigger...

So I was wondering if there is another remote option for a XSI..more reliable and less ifffi

for only 25 bucks just get another one

I was about to...
But: the fact that you Have to be Right in front of the camera for it to work kind of bothers me a bit since the day I tried it

maybe a long cord trigger:p?

Just search ebay for "phottix xti" (the one that works for the Xti should work with the Xsi as well) and youll find a bunch.

you wont be able to do the bulb setting function on the rc5 like how you can do it with the rc1. the rc5 is basically just to trigger the shutter.

Yea that is the previous generation from Phottix and also the one I own. For the price it cant be beat.
