uk robin shot and me with the 600

well i have finaly got the shot and done with the 600.

got the f/frame to keep things sharp and deatailed the more i use this lens and live view on the 40d the more keeper % goes up.

i should have posted this in another thread but this is me :D and yes i was very happy.

That looks like a lot better mount than I had on my Orion ED 80. Looks solid, fairly stable. Mine wiggled around really bad. Great shot of the Robin too.

What you have between lens and camera? I wold recomed you some bigger head for such big lens;)

thansk mitch this is my trusted opticron bird scope pod when i did digi scoping .
when i sold all my gear i kept the pod. it has got some movement with this lens so i desided to get a manfrotto 190x prob but i havent got the head yet a a cheapish price.

the black tube is camera adapter so it let you get focus from about 15ft but will not let you focus to infinity.

as for the head well as ive explained to mich i open for idear.
