Thats pretty good for the lighting setup you mentioned that you used. Good work.
I was always taught to use a little light and make the most of it. LOL. It's amazing what you can do with one light.

Lloyd, yet another super set of wonderful photos! Your composition is always refreshing and original.
#1 is a tad washed out on my monitor. In #7 I would clone out the small "drop" hanging under her chin...I find it to be distracting.
Q. Is it me or are you using sepia conversions in your work more often now? I really love that look.
hey Jim! It's great to hear from you again!
I've always had a thing for sepia. I don't think I'm using them more but it seems like I'm choosing more of them to share.

quick ?.. do you find yourself using alot of off camera flash work in your weddings? the lighting in alot suggest you do... do you have a simple tip for getting it right 90% of the time...
congrats on your sets....massive props...

Yes, I use a lot of off camera flash. I like to try and use Wireless ETTL when I can, but outdoors it's useless so I use pocketwizards and manual flash. The best way to learn and get it right is just to practice like mad. I practice (and STILL practice like crazy) in my backyard taking pics of anything in any conditions. Sunlight, dusk, middle of the night, harshly frontlit, backlit, whatever. I have lots of pics of trees, fences, weeds, flowers, grass, and my wheelbarrow LOL.
