Tamrac backpacks are great! I have the Expedition 5 which is a little bigger than what you have and can hold a little bit more and I just love it. I'm thinking of getting the Expedition 6 so that I can carry an extra body without needing to remove one or two items from the bag but I'm not sure if it'll be big enough (and I don't want to go up to the Expedition 7 because of the large, non-removable waist band it has).

PacAce, Thanks man. I was lied too by the guy in ritz "Should have known better" but he said this bag would be able to hold 2 bodies "freaking lier" it can't but I like the bag since it will get me started in walking with a pack and getting me fit. Anyways the bag is fully loaded with also a jvc movie hard drive camcorder just in case I see something cool.

tkoutdoor, got a photo of it mate?

Well... It can hold two bodies, but not really with lenses on both. I put a second body in one of the internal side sections without a lens on it when I wanna pack both of them inside the bag. I don't have pics on hand, but I'll come up with something.

Thanks mate, But I've explainedto him it was going to hold 2 zoom lens 2 camera bodies 2 kit lens and a normal lens and one camera will be the bodie only.

I just think that the ression is so bad that they've been retraining the sales people to sell you anything even the dirt on the carpet if it will work.

Thanks Canonnoob, I'm stoked about this coming summer I think the first place I may go is to Egypt (external link) to shoot the spynxe and the pyrimids.

And by the time summer time comes I should be fit enough to wear this bag and walk for miles.

I bought a couple of the MX5384 pouches for my Tamrac. That way, I can get the flash and other miscellaneous out of the pack to make room for additional lenses or another body.

I just think that the ression is so bad that they've been retraining the sales people to sell you anything even the dirt on the carpet if it will work.

It appears that your bag "could" be 2 to 4 inches shorter in height than mine based on the lens length in the middle. I can carry a 100-400 on camera in the middle and have room for a 1.4x extender or small prime at the end of the zoom. I don't think you'll be able to do that.

I'd have one lens and camera together down the center (70-200 or 100-400). One capped body on right. A 24-105 or something similar on the left. A 17-40 or something similar beside it standing vertical. I could have 3 lenses standing vertical down either side without interfering with the main divider at the top of the bag by the body. Next to the bare body and at the end of the middle zoom I could have a 50mm 1.4 and a 85mm 1.8 standing straight up. There would be room for a 1.4x extender or extension tube or 2 stacked with the 50 1.4. The flash can go in the larger zippered compartment on the back. All of that works with my bag. The 200 EG bag is really cheap sometimes at Amazon.com. It was under $30 at Christmas here in the USA I believe with some kind of rebate. I ended up getting mine for under $40 shipped.

I don't own all of those lenses any more, but I'll see what I can get packed in mine and post up pics for you to see. It doesn't have the depth to put a gripped body in vertical with a long lens in the middle because it tapers down where the body is located. For that reason I'm prolly gonna try and find another bag for when I really get serious about getting a grip or a 1D body.

no problem and thanks again.

any time you want to do the snaps go ahead I wouldn't mind seeing the bag.

By the way I will have to train with my camera bag on me since I've never had any kind of bag before and it's rather heavy with all my gear in it.

That would be cool.

Right now I have my 430 ex flash in one compartment, my tamron in the other compartment, and my simga 70-300 in the other one. some filters, and that's all I have in the main bag then in the side pocket I have the jcv camcorder.
