My wife and I took a cruise to Alaska. The weather was terrible,however the place is still beautiful.

Sucks to hear about the weather, seems to be the complaint I hear from a lot of people.

Nice shots, well done. We took the same cruise in June/July on the Oosterdam and had beautiful weather the whole time. 75 and sunny in Juneau. I'm assuming that is the location of the first shot.

The weather may have been bad but your shots are great.


30D,l XT with grip,l 24-105L 1:4 IS,l 100-400L 4.5-5.6 IS,l 18-55 3.5-5.6, l 75-300 4-5.6,l 580EX flash,l various assorted filters, tripod, etc.

I bet it was beautiful. I tell people I saw the lower 500 FT of Alaska. Still awesome though!

No,but people tell me the train tour there is spectacular. Our stops were Juneau,Sitka,Ketchikan and Victoria B.C.,maybe next year we take the other itinerary and do it in June or July. You live in a awesome part of the country!
