Has anyone tried Bibble Labs Software with their D30? If so, I'd love to hear your opinion of it. Thanks

it's functionality is ok, but it's quality is poor.
While converting images from Raw to Tif
it does some really nasty things to the highlights.

I thought this was a D30 image conversion problem, but I've seen the same problem with D1X conversions.

I dumped it.

How ever there is a far better program (I just registered today) called Breeze Browser. "Excellent" and does it with quality as good as zoombrowser. And has more features like non-lossy rotate etc.

Breeze Browser (And the free dowloader) are really good tools for browsing photos...
But I am missing a 'Catalog/Archive' program that works well with offline medias (CD-ROM).
ThumbsPlus looks good. Any other altrenatives?

A feature I found useful in Bibble is the "Change exposure compensation." I hope Breezebrowser would include this facility in the future upgrade.

I use the free fototime software for doing CD rom production. It generates CD Roms with a stripped down version of their browser, and can automatically create auto-starting cd roms with all the images organized any way you want it. I find it is great to generate one of these after my son goes to a birthday party. Not only do I have an excuse to practice on little kids (always photogenic subjects), but I can give back a little gift to the family that threw the bash.

A really good program is IMatch from Photools ( http://www.photools.com/ (external link) ). It's very versatile, easy to use, actively being enhanced, soon to support CRW files and only costs $50US. It supports both on-line and off-line files. It is also easy to tell the program you have moved files from on-line to off-line as you migrate files to CD-Rs.

Indeed -- I'm impressed!
