Hold out for a 2GB. Having started out with a "huge" 128 that I thought I would never fill, I have finally got 2, 2 GBs and can honestly say, I am now happy. The 1 GB's fill up too quickly when you shoot raw +jpg's.
IGB do have rebates (Lexar) and I recently got one from Midwest Camera @ around $82 after rebate.

You're so lucky! That same card from Jacobs here in the UK is £93.61. That's $174!

I got a SanDisk Ultra II 2G card from newegg.com for $195 USD (including all the extra stuff like tax, shipping, etc)

i was gonna say to check the geek vendors. newegg.com tigerdirect.com or mayb just hit up pricegrabber.com and get a few prices in one place.

i have dropped alot of cash at newegg in the last 6 months and have not have any problems with orders or product.
