Been so busy that I hardly have time to play, let alone work on technique. Here's a few from yesterday when I managed to get 1.5 hours of down time and actually got to get more than 3 hours of sleep. Two full time jobs and school full time is killing me. Slowly.

Thanks for looking and any creative criticism.

I have been studying my family history so I like the cemetery pic, the guy on the bike and also the one with all of the sail boats.

Question though, were most of these taken around noon?

IMHO, the object in almost all the photos is either too centered or on the wrong side of the image. I think offsetting them one way or the other would have a greater visual impact. This is especially evident on the sternwheeler and gull shots, in which the objects seem to be ready to dive off the edge of the photo (rather than leaving room for them to move into).

Colors, contrast, etc. seem good, I just don't care for most of the compositions.

I think the cemetery shot is unique and excellent. Watch your whites on the others. A few are blown out.

I'm agreeing with chadmcm's comments and in addition, I find the majority of the images under exposed and soft'ish.

After a ton of PP - Also, I quit one of my full time jobs. So I rewarded myself by purchasing Photoshop CS3
