These are from the school's first game in their new arena... the lighting was a dream!!! I am used to the dungeons at the high school level, and this place was bright.

Here are a few of my shots... all were with the 1D Mark III and 70-200 f/2.8 IS. I even shot a little with a TC1.4 teleconverter on there if you can believe that. Want to guess which shot was with the TC? (no fair cheating with the EXIF either) And one was with the Fisheye... should be able to figure that out!

All processing was done in Lightroom V2 and I shot in JPEG.

It's mid-season and I'm not coaching this sport as I usually would be...stop making me miss it. Great light and lots of peak action. I'm gonna guess the that looks like it was shot from up top is with the 1.4...though I'll check for sure soon as I hit post.

yupe, my guess is #6 with the TC

#1 is one of the cleanest digging shots I've seen.

Yeh, when you are used to shooting in a gym that requires ISO6400 and f/2 to manage 1/400s shutter speeds, this place was like sitting on the sun.

I guess #6 as well...just cuz of the angle of the shot, not cuz of quality, these are all GREAT!

Yep, its #6. Amazingly, I took that shot about 20' to the left of where I took the Fisheye shot. The light in that place is great.

Camels are actually pretty vicious when they fight.

My kids played a school in NY who's mascot was the "Thunder Chickens"... I'm not kidding.
