The technique is absolutely perfect for the subject and the environment!

But: They drove a Ford... ;) They even wrote to old Henry himself to thank him for making such a fine automobile...

(Me, I'd take a serious crack at cloning out the 'Vette behind...)

Thanks FlyingPhotog, and thanks for a history lesson.

Well least I got the same style of car even if it's a Chevy.

I'm loving light room and Picasa 3.

I will buy lr2 once the trails ends.

You'll like LR2 a lot... They really tightened it up. Runs much better than 1.4.1.8675309

There are some things it does really, really well and some things need a bit more pixel-level horsepower.

I can tell you for fact that LR2 has cut down the time I normally spend in CS3 by more than half!

I think it looks great. I would be interested to see it with a little "grain" to make the photography look vintage.

I also find its funny that even an old vette is much too modern for the photo :-)

2.1 is even better still. They fixed some memory leaks that degraded performance in 2.0. It's MUCH better, at least on my laptop.

I agree. And does the image really need to be 767KB?

I like it, but the house & whitewalls look a bit blown in color managed Firefox3. Firefox 3 "Enable Color Management" Trick. It looks better in Internet Explorer, though. I wish that all these browsers would get on the same page someday.

Clone out the Vette and throw in a little film grain.
