Found this link the other day, perhaps it would be useful to anyone considering the 20D.

Tech TV is electronics/computer centric, not a camera specific interest network, but from other product reviews that I have read, combined with my own experience having used those products, they are neutral and unbiased.

It certainly is a great camera.

For gadgets / computers - minded website, I'm surprised they didn't say a word about the CF interface performance or USB2.0 transfer speeds (they always have to perform those speed benchmark, don't they ? ;) ). But overall, the review is very nice and really sums up the features of this fine camera.

Best wishes,
Oleg.

I agree with the reviewer - the specs aren't everything. The specs are only part of the reason why people love (or don't love) this camera.

I've had 7-8 other SLR cameras before, several of them have been highly reviewed, and possibly in one way or another were "better".... but in spite of that, there have only been two I've really "connected" with. This is one of them. It has its quirks, but in general the way it goes about things just makes you love it more because of them (or in spite of them).

The 20D has way more ability than I do... and it's reignited my enthusiasm to go out and take pictures in a way that I thought had died.

Thank you Canon :)

Tech-Tv is dead, killed by the uninteresting and glamor drive G4 buy out.
Their reviews anymore are done by people that have no pasion for what they are working with.
One of the negatives is that the view finder only had 95% coverage. Do they know how many SLR cameras don't have larger percentages??
They probably had the review because so many people were asking.

Sorry about the rant but Tech-TV was one of my favorite channels but is now dead by G4:(
