Hi everyone, my first time posting here. I am wondering if this 35L I got is a good copy or not. I cannot compare with anything else myself since this is the only lens I have. These are taken with a 5d in raw. I used DPP to convert without NR and WB adjustment. Thanks everyone for all the help!!!

I hope the 100% crops are correct. I used PS elements' rectangular marquee tool and save as.

Looks good to me. Are they taken at f/1.4?

They look pretty good, surprised you're even asking, even without having another lens you can't compare to.

sharpness usually increases as the lense is stoped down untill it hits the defraction barrier. To get an accurate judgement of sharpness, you need to post some pictures of it shot wide open, (1.4) perferably post 100% crops along with it, have shots that are fast enough to negate out motion blur, and usually have some sort of side by side comparison to see if your lense is sharp comparied to a know sharp lens...

Thank you for the pointers! I did not know the lens needs to be wide open to determine sharpness.

Here is 1/80, f/1.4, ISO 50 (I meant to shoot it at 100 but turned the dial too much)
