Canon EOS 40D and 50D, some lenses with curious red stripes and other gadgets. Previously a very satisfied owner of 20D.

Either make the vignetting darker by fading to black, or simply crop out the excess you don't like so much. As for the nirvana 'nevermind' shot in the pool, I think the idea is pretty much there, but the choices you've made with selective colour makes it look like an advertisement for floaties. If you put a big bold tagline underneath, with a phone number, I'd probably dial it and order a couple. I'm all for experimentation and I applaud you for it. If I have any advice, it's to ask youself "what message does this send?" when you look at your work critically. It's not enough to just do things for cool value, it also has to communicate something. Agree......the blur in the frame doesn't work. A slight vignette would be useful. I like this shot though.not too often you see kids sitting on a stoop anymore. you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.
