I was out at the zoo last week playing with my new 40D. Just wondering if anyone finds this interesting?? My husband says,"Uhhhh.....No." :p

If the other bird wasn't present and the distracting shadow in the foreground wasn't present, then maybe. But as it is, no, sorry. :)

Keep it. Peel out the legs and use them in something later. I can see where they might be used to drop into another image to make a colage.

Go find a picture of a duck/chicken/penguin or some other small bird looking up, and drop that between the 2 sets of legs.

I'd keep it too... I played with some edits of the photo and I agree with Flo that it works best as a b&w. A couple things to notice: The shadow at the lower left and the disturbed sand are a little distracting, so I cloned these areas out. The black border brings the photo together, I think.

Just another note: be careful sharpening the image if you do so later on because you may end up with some painful looking sand. In my edit, I selected the legs and sharpened them separately from the sand; the sand was left as was.

I like Reign's crop, and the clone work done on the bottom left corner. Good choices!
The picture works better BnW IMO

I would disagree with your husband; and some of others who have replied to this post.

The post-crop image has something the viewer needs to think about. It stimulates ones mind. Its beautiful, for me, because what u dont see as a shadow, u see as the real part of its body, and vice versa.

Think of it as a compressed image, to understand my POV. If you captured the entire bird, the image wud be vertical and large; and would have absolutely no significance to it. When it is as it is now (post-crop), it is small in size, yet full of meaning. To uncompress, we should use our imagination.
Nice work!
