What a nice lens. In original box with packaging very little dust and a smooth zoom just as new. With my 30D and the 28 105 f/3.5-4.5 this is a great combo.

Definitely a nice lens, its what I use for paintball since I won't risk my 70-200 on the field. I found it in a local shop marked down to $60 because of a stiff zoom... Turned out to be a five minute fix realigning the zoom ring.

Hey, I have the same combo! My 28-105mm just came yesterday though so I haven't tried it out yet.

I'm considering getting this lens instead of the 70-200 f/4L. I mean, it's less than half the price and performs almost as well. It has Ring USM, 8 aperture blades and a fairly fast aperture and is more compact @ 70mm.

This review may interest you then.

I will have to say that while the 70-210 does have great value, it does not really compare to the 70-200 L after one year of use. The L is a much better lens in every way. But if money is tight, the 70-210 is a great choice.

Very nice writeup there. I can definitely see the difference in terms of build quality, sharpness at full zoom wide open and chromatic abberations. We'll see how my budget plays out this holiday season ;)

My 1st and only telezoom. This lens is definitely enough for the times I need the long range, which hasn't been very much... Only complaint is the zoom creep.

This lens was my first tele too along with its brother 100-300. I like it a lot when I had it and used it extensively for sports.

I sold it for more than I got it for.
