Hey everybody,

I'm a long time lurker in these forums but i don't post much. I've learned and gotten a ton of inspiration from everyone who post here. Thought i would work up the nerve and share some pics i did for some friends of mine. Despite my best efforts these shots were taken 1-2 pm on what seemed to me like the brightest day this summer lol. C&C very welcome.

Dude, tough shoot, but don't forget you can use the sun as a hair light and shoot for fill. I like 4 but you should remove the glare on her left cheek. Here is an edit I did really quick like, I'm sure you can do better. Also, man I've been know to even use rain umbrellas on a sunny day, bring someone with you and have them shade the scene with the umbrella, and the uneven lighting is solved.

Thanks for the replies. I was cringing that afternoon as we walked to the park cause the sun was so harsh. I also felt a little rushed as the park was packed and there were a couple wedding photogs running around and I didn't want to occupy a location too long. I learned a lot about loacation, timing and harsh lighting conditions. I would do a lot different in the same conditions.

Thanks for the edit cchooks, I'm on my phone right now and when I get home I'll take a better look and try to replicate.

Thanks again.
-Mike

lol, you filipinos are a tight bunch. Everytime i meet a filipino they know at least 3 filipino's that i already know... it's like 3 degrees of seperation instead of 6:D
