This is the darkest and worst lit gym I think I've every shot in.
These are very, very good considering what you had to work with.
When I find myself in dark gyms I usually just put my camera back in the trunk of the car and just watch. The other alternative is to turn the ISO back down to a reasonable level, which of course slows your shutter speed down. In doing this I give up trying for action photos and concentrate on capturing the players when they are not moving. The girls celebrate almost every point and 120th of a second, or even slower, can capture these moments. Other opportunities are when the girls huddle with their coach (like picture #5) or are in the ready position. I even look for pictures when the players are relaxing with teammates between games at tournaments. I've even been known to take pictures of colorful water bottles lined up on the floor. These photos don't mean much to those outside the team, but for players, parents and coaches they capture a season of memories. volleyball is such a great sport. Photographing it is tough.
Again, convergent, great job.
