My new Canon 70-200/f4L came today! When I opened the box from B&H all I could say was WOW! I'm definately going to have some fun this weekend. I've seen several arould, but I'd never actually held one until this afternoon; this thing is a pretty hefty piece if gear. I can hardly wait to get started using it. I hope the photos I take with it turn out half as nice as the ones I've seen posted on these forums. I'll definately be a happy shooter! :D:D:D

Congrats on the new piece of glass, it really is a great piece of kit to have. Your going to love it, now get out and go and shoot some ducks.

Are you planning to get rid of your 55-250 now that you have the 70-200?

I guess it is compared to the larger white lenses, but it feels a lot more substantial than my 55-250mm.

I think I'm going to hold on to it a while. You never know when it'll come in handy.

I envy you all.

The Brown truck's not stopping at my driveway for another month or two.
(That's when I get my 35L.)

Happy shooting.

Might as well join the 'brown truck just stopped by' fun.

I just received my new toy as well; my 70-200! :] Too bad i cannot go out for now to try it, nor tomorrow, but wednesday it'll be put to the test. And i shall bring back duck pictures. More, more duck pictures!

No brown truck for me. Actually I never see the brown truck, he just drops off the lens in front of my door... I mean he hands it to me

Anyways, congrats on a fine lens.
