This slightly rarer (or so I am lead to believe) aircraft gave a good turn. They said that in active service they could cram 6 paratroops in the back???

Some of these have been turned into spotter aircraft and are used for directing tankers in to drop fire retardant in the western parts of the USofA.

Its good that they are still in use ~ 'this' one as may be obvious by its markings has the markings of the (West) German Airforce and was used for pulling target drones - even painted with the bright orange flashes I hope they use a very long to rope

You might find this an interesting read...

Has to do with "live fire" training during WWII using "frangible ammo"

Apologies in advance as there's music on this site :(

An intriguing insight into the more unusual necessities of war.

PS Just leave my speakers turned unless needed ;) but I also hate the orange on black at that site.....ach!
