I like the look, I would only try and play with the saturation of the greens (dunno how that would work out - just see if anything can be done) because the bunch of green in front of the barn is a bit distracting... anyway, it looks awesome!

Hmmmm, do you mean green tint or the greenery (bushes)? If you mean you see a green tint, I see none. If you are referencing the green bushes, I think they add to the effect.

As stated in the OP, the sky is the weakest link here and being worked on. However, I would think that as opposed to masking in some sort of nice blue sky, considering the mood set by this pic, grey, threatening, stormy, gloomy clouds would work well.

bushes, but that's me. I'm sure once the sky is changed it will have a totally different feel.

I think, for me, seeing the entire building would have more impact. It feels unfinished to me..

I think the greens need to be toned down a bit, but I like the sky as it sets a gloomy (sp?) mood.

I Like the detail and colours in the old rotting wood.
You could pull the greens back a bit in highlights which would also add some magenta which works with the existing colours and maybe shoot the building more on the corner so it fills the frame more, you had better hurry before it collapses.
Nice conversion and i think the grey sky looks OK adds to the abandonment of the subject, it is on the verge of halo in the trees to my eye.
