Spent a day out with my new Canon 500mm f/4 IS, I am very pleased with the results with 1.4x and 2.0x

Taken with Canon 1D MKIII, Canon 500mm f/4 IS, 1.4x and 2.0x

Very nice pics....looks like you where standing same place as me...very nice lens as well makes mine look rubbish going to have to upgrade soon.


Canon 60D...70-300mm-IS...100-400L...EFS18-55MM is....plus lots more to come when I have the money.

Lovely set - were you the guy with the large tripod and massive camo lens? I was stood next to you during "roll for pole" if you are - shots look about same position, hairpin. #4 Rutter is my favourite one - I'm going pop a few up later from race day.

Great shots. I was there with a 400 and for most times with 2.0 tele. It's a crap circuit for togs!
