Hi All

This little 'chap' and its sibling were staring out of their enclosure expectantly and making keening noises. I surmise they were wating to be fed sometime soon. To say they were cute would be an understatement.

Aww, cute. Where's he from? I'm sure I recognise him, although they probably all look alike :D

Hi Anke

Sorry, should have said. This is an Asian Short Clawed Otter, an endangered species seen at the The Durrell Foundation in Jersey C.I. Absolutely cute as cute can be, one of those occasions when we just wanted to reach in and give them a stroke/cuddle. :) But the slight whiff of fish breath was a little offputting

One of our keepers had the end of her thumb bitten off by an otter. Cuddle at your own risk. But they are cute.

Ha... The little *fish breath* is certainly a cute bugger... The sleek fur looks awesome... Thanks for sharing.
