:o I have question. Is the 540EZ TTL Flash compatable with my 10D? I have a chance to buy one used

Sadly nope. Unless you fancy using in on manual all the time. You'll have to try an EX series gun for full TTL function.

Canon Digital cameras use ETTL not TTL or ATTL. Only EX series or ETTL compatible non Canon flashes will work in ETTL.

Thanks guys, I had a bad feeling about that. Too bad, it was priced nice. I have an old ef 430 super which won't work either, so I was looking. May have a 420ex that s new anyone have a feeling about this one, I'm pretty sure it will work.

420 ex is what I have. Works vey well.
