Been a while since I posted here...

Atak has moved to the new location, and now has a bigger hall (capacity: 700). So some "bigger names" can be booked.
Paul Carrack was one of those.
I've put a quick selection online for a review of the show.

C&C encouraged!

Shot with 1D2, and basically everything from 20-35 to 80-200 with 1.4x TC ;)

Some, like the first two, look a bit soft. I like #3. #4 seems cropped a little tight. #5 looks a bit soft. Perhaps it is blocked up in the blues. I like the keyboard reflections in #6.

Very nice work, Rene. There is a richness to the color and tone in them that really shows all the work you have done on color. Bravo. I like 1, 3 and 4 with 3 being my favorite.

Since narlus brought up the conversion, what conversion workflow did you use on these?

Good action... As usual, Rene' your composition, framing and subject selection is spot on...

Just personally, I find #2 a little bit less attractive...He's either chewing tobacco, or his teeth aren't showing.

You already know what I think... nice series, but he's a bit "sunburned" (okay really strange colour but you know what I mean) on #5.

On the posed shot: clean & simple, but I think the lighting could have been more exciting.

Yeah, I probably should have removed the tupperware from the flash, and bounce a bit higher ;)

On the color: I think it's okay :p
