Bolsa Chica, 70-200 with stacked TC

went back out today with the stacked (2x + 1.4x) tc on the 70-200 F2.8. afternoon seemed to have favored me with good lighting.

the reddish was shot with only the 2x TC attached, as the previous attempt with 2x+1.4 had absolutely TERRIBLE IQ.

I got rid of my 70-200mm because it was not sharp when I added a 1.4x on there. And without it I couldn't reach the birds. You caught these birds, but they seem soft to me and I think you might think about a longer lens. The 70-200mm is a great lens for close work. Nice series, only wish they were sharper...The Egret is very good, you caught the whites perfectly and the photo is quite sharp. You might get down lower next time for a better angle next time.
