is that the heat haze distorting the A330?

We actually get the lads from Cold Lake fairly often. Once a year the RAF bring in their Tornados for maneuvers over Suffield.

Yes I do. I work for Landmark Aviation in Calgary Alberta. the hanger is at the south end aerodrome.
