you should post in "nature and landscapes" for discussing it further..

thanks for sharing

Avi

These are wonderful!

But I have to offer a word of caution:

Don't go chasing waterfalls
Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to
I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all
But I think you're moving too fast

Sorry about that :)

I like the formatting of the second shot, but both look a tad overexposed with the greenery framing the falls blown out. Perhaps a fraction short exposure. Otherwise a really nice find.

I like the shot, but I see the focus is too close and the waterfall area is slightly out of focus.

I also like the framing on 2 best.
Maybe the exposure was just a tad too long...The water is very close to clipping and the foreground a bit overexposed.
No EXIF data did you use a ND Filter? What apature? the rocks look a little soft...pretty close though

Just my opinion here, but I like the portrait for this type of shot better than a landscape. I would however liked to have seen more of the waterfall itself in this shot...I think you were either too close or zoomed in too close. I also have to agree with the exposure issue here as well...looks just a tad bit hot to me. I also might tinker with the saturation a bit too...maybe try and selectively back down on the yellows just a bit.

Peace,
Jim

cheers jim , will try that with the yellows , must say that the originals look better than the compressed files for here.

Second one is alright... composition in the first doesn't strike me - perhaps too centralised. Maybe as a vertical...
