I have a friend who has taken some amazing shots of some humming birds with a Nikon set-up. His flash is triggered by his cameras flash. Can it be done on the 20D and 420EX? The rewards are in the risks.

I think there are flashes that can be triggered by another flash, but the problem with them is the preflash can set them off.
